Jodie (Jo) Carrigan is a Denver native and graduate of DPS. She received her undergraduate and masters degree from the University of Colorado and completed her principal licensure program at the University of Denver. Right out of college Jo began her teaching career in DPS and has been here ever since. During her time as a classroom teacher, Jo taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade before becoming a facilitator and then moved into her role as an administrator. Jo is starting her 8th year as the Principal of Doull Elementary and she loves her job! Jo believes passionately in the importance of growing the hearts and minds of the students at Doull, and she takes pride in the whole child supports that Doull offers their students. Jo considers herself a lifelong learner and strives to instill the love of learning in every student at Doull. When Jo isn't at school you can find her hiking, riding ATVs, reading and spending time in the mountains with her family and pups. Jo loves playing for Team Doull!
