Dawn was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She earned her B.A. in Spanish from St. Louis University, attending campuses in both Missouri and in Madrid, Spain. She completed her teaching degree at Metro State College of Denver, and has her master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. Dawn taught English and Spanish in Madrid and has had the privilege of working with our youngest children in Early Childhood Education for the past 16 years in Denver Public Schools. She strives to create the best learning environment and build community among children and families. For fun, she enjoys snow skiing in the winter, biking, hiking and camping in the summer with her family.
