OBJECTIVE
To be of service to the children and community of Denver
by providing a well-rounded, positive learning environment for students;
to energize and facilitate the teamwork of professionals in a school which is pedagogically based
on experiential learning, reading-writing process, arts and technology.

- June, 1995: Presenter at the Modern Language Association conference on "Advocacy in the Classroom," Pittsburgh, PA.
- May, 1995: Presenter at the American Council of Learned Societies Elementary and Secondary Teacher Curriculum Development Project, Palm Springs, CA.
- 1994-1995: American Council of Learned Societies Teacher-Fellow developing a curriculum project in the arts to articulate McKinley-Thatcher and Rosedale Elementary with Grant Middle and South High Schools.
- 1996: Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on Reading and Writing Process.
- Published author of "Advocacy in the Public School Classroom" an essay included in Advocacy in the Classroom, St. Martin's Press, Nov. 1996.
