Character Education at Doull

Amazing High 5 Student Awards

Each student at Doull is already an Amazing Student. It is their status when they enter our school. To maintain this status they must do all of of the Doull High 5:

• I am here and ready
• I am respectful and kind
• I am responsible
• I follow directions
• I do my best

The Amazing Students Program is intended as an POSITIVE INCENTIVE PROGRAM, and not as a punishment.

NOTE:Some students have difficulty maintaining their status through no fault of their own. For these students teachers may put them on a special contract that is different from the above criteria to earn an Amazing Student Award.

What do they get?

Each week students earn an extra 20 minute recess and a certificate to bring home that says they have been an Amazing High 5 Student. For those who missed for that week, they receive a note saying "Please Try Harder Next Week."

Amazing Student Award program is funded through the generosity of the Doull PTO Eagle Club, which provides quarterly parties for Amazing Students. If students earn 6 out of 9 per quarter, they get to join the Quarterly Party.

Below are pictures from our Sock Hop last year. We had a DJ, and lots of fun doing the limbo and having bubblegum blowing contests.
